Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tefteri mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Who We Are
Tefteri is a digital notebook that helps you manage medical visits, reminders, and related personal notes. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to Tefteri.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration and Security
- You may use the App locally on your device without signing in. To sync your personal notebook across devices or delete a signed-in account, you must sign in using a supported authentication method (currently Google Sign-In via Firebase).
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly at support@pavlossta.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws and regulations.
- Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringing on third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems, or interfere with its operation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code except as permitted by law.
- Use automated scripts or bots to access or collect information from the Service without our consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User Content
- You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service (visits, reminders, categories, notes).
- By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and lawfulness of your content. Do not upload personal data about others without their consent.
6. Health Disclaimer
Tefteri is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Always seek the guidance of qualified healthcare professionals for medical questions. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on the use of the Service.
7. Paid Features
The Service is currently offered free of charge. If we introduce paid plans or in-app purchases, we will update these Terms and provide advance notice.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and GDPR Compliance Notice. Account deletion is described on our Account Deletion page. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in those documents.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Tefteri or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your user content, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers such as Google Firebase. Your use of those features may be subject to the providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
11. Service Availability and Changes
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We will provide reasonable notice when feasible.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account or uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but the rights and obligations that by their nature should survive (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will remain in effect.
13. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT DATA WILL BE PRESERVED WITHOUT LOSS.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEFTERI AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED €50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Tefteri harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your user content, or your violation of these Terms.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Athens, Greece, for the resolution of any disputes.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
